Great article in today’s New York Times Magazine on the Large Hadron Collider in Geneva, Switzerland that’s set to fire up soon. http://www.nytimes.com/2007/01/14/magazine/14supercollider.t.html?oref=login, with a slide show that looks like a kaleidescope. Lisa Randall, author of “Warped Passages”, who’s speaking on Saturday the 27th will probably mention the collider. Nice to get a preview!
