As we head into the home stretch for what promises to be a truly thrilling festival weekend, I want to thank all the people who have helped us get to where we are now: our board, our fabulous performers, our wonderful supporters from the community and Cornell and Ithaca College, Marie and all the volunteers and production crew who make the weekend so professional; and especially Madeline, whose creativity and expertise have helped boost Light in Winter to a new level. After working on this festival year-round, it feels good to take a breath and look back, as well as ahead. We’re all looking forward to seeing you January 26-28, and to getting your feedback on our on-line survey and throughout the year. Here’s to new “Connections” in 2007, for us and for bridging the conflicts that trouble our world.
